Repair piping inside with insert couplings
Due to the large volume of pipeline construction at the end of the last millennium , the increase in the share of construction in adverse (water logged) conditions , a period of intense failures due to natural aging , corrosion. Because of the high cost of continuous and even selective repair lately is increasingly used method of repair “pipe in pipe “, which allows to significantly reduce costly component repair – earthworks . But given the enormous length of pipelines laid in wetlands and permafrost , and stacked in an urban area with widely branched underground and overhead utilities , it is neither technical nor financial opportunity pipeline repair method ” pipe in pipe” by pulling the repair pipeline inside repaired throughout its duration . Application of this classical method does not reduce the cost of repair and restoration of damaged communications. The reasons for this are the high operating costs of administration into the pipeline resin impregnated flexible hoses with subsequent vulcanization, and are based on applying different kinds of chemical coatings on the interior surface of the existing pipeline, the high cost of maintenance of various kinds of pipes and coatings. Proposed a method for repairing local damage and destruction of the pipeline laid in difficult conditions, based on shipping using rods – pipes in place of small extent of damage repair plug sockets, installation and fixing them in a designated place, followed by removing the rods – pipes. Method will significantly reduce the cost of repair of local damage of the pipeline laid in difficult conditions.
